Catchbox – lessee of Realto

The Latvian company SIA Catchbox implemented the idea of throwable microphone that was born in Finland. This year SIA Catchbox plans to manufacture and export 2–3 times more microphones than last year, according to Dienas Bizness.

Catchbox is the first throwable microphone in the world that is provided to involve the audience and is useful during lectures, seminars, conferences and different corporate events, according to the Chairman of the Board of SIA Catchbox Miķelis Studers. The company’s target audience includes event organisers, educational establishments and companies employing many employees.

“The microphone is built in a soft textile cube to ensure it can be thrown by one speaker to another. Catchbox was developed using wireless microphone and sensor that turns off the microphone while it flies to a speaker to ensure that when it lands a noise wouldn’t be heard in speakers,” said Mr Studers.
